Massive updates all around. There are 39 new stories, 15 new authors, 20 new postings on the resources page, and a new category to search for fic by:  Threesomes and Moresomes. I had planned on this being the final update- it's been over a year since the last one, and I lack both time and apparently, motivation. But now...I'm not so sure. There are great writers still writing great things. And I am a completest. So, keep checking. You never know. Until next time.

Damn. Long time no see. Sorry 'bout that. But I come bearing new authors and new fic, as well as some updates in the "Why is Angel gay?" dept. (snerk. like he needed more help from me- did you SEE the season premiere?)

Additionally, I've been asked numerous times about a Livejournal post I made a while ago, entitled "My Angel." Decided for ease of communication, I'll just link to it. HERE. StA has a new section of Angelslash- Trio Porn. The section will include quality Angel/M/F stories, of an implicit and explicit nature. Thusfar, three new selections into the category: Aus/Wm/Dru, A/S/Buffy & A/W/Cordelia. Check them out on the Fanfic Update page. I know there must be more of this genre out there somewhere. One new fic from a new author on the scene, a recent update on the RPGFH, and a couple of new links. Fixed and/or deleted all broken links. Also, Angel/SpongeBob Squarepants slash coming soon.

In the New Fic dept. The new Yahtzee is up, as well as an outside link to an insane and overwhelming un-beta'd WIP. It's called the RPG from Hell, and with good reason. Over 800 pages of emails and smut between Angel, Spike and Wesley, set in a spin-off verse from the Epiphany Series by TBQ & Mer (some of which is also archived here). It takes good eyesight, patience and a tolerance for whacky formatting, but if you can put that aside, you will enjoy some of the steamiest and most in character D/s Jossverse slash has ever seen. Remember though, it's a WIP, so don't expect resolution, or the conclusion, any time soon. At the time this goes up, she's only got links to 600 of the 800 pages. And folks, that's just the intro.

Got some more Site Awards, one from City of Angel, one from a site who is now also a new affiliate, Dusk til Dawn. Tres Cool. A new Benerasq fic, and eagerly awaiting a Yahtzee hot-bit o' L/A slash. I have it on good authority it'll be done tomorrow. Ok, the authority is me, 'cause I beta'd it. :}

Slashing the Angel won the Halo Award for Best Fanfiction Site. I can't even tell you how happy this makes me, 'cause The Halos don't have a rep for being terribly slash friendly. Squeeee! And thank you all the judges. Much.  Squee.

Peasant has her own page, and it's chock full o' Aus/Wm smut. Happy happy day.

New ficcage. Not a ton, it's still slow 'round these parts. Dunno if it's the baby storyline or what, but good Angelslash is damn nigh impossible to find in quantity these days.

However, StA has gotten over FIFTY THOUSAND HITS, and I for one am excited as heck. Thanks to all the faithful, and all the newbies who have found my little haven of BroodBoy Slash Paradise, and keep coming back, and referring their friends and neighbors!

Fixed some linkage stuff, added a new fic by a new author (Jessa) and generally bemoaned the lack of good, new  Angelslash. Have high hopes for the Secret Slasha Thingamajig being put together by Kate Bolin. Can't wait to see, read, and hopefully archive some of those stories here. And maybe on my Giles site as well...hmmm...

So you may have noticed this site isn't being updated as much as it used to be. Not for lack of trying damnit! I don't accept submissions to StA, for numerous reasons, but by god if anyone has some recs for lists or fics they wanna toss my way, I'm all ears and typin' fingers. Cause can you say DEARTH of Angelslash?? Dearth! Dearth I say!

Did add two Brat Queen fics. Cause you know, she's dashing.

Oh, and went back to the old frame set, 'cause html sucks dick and the new one only worked on half the computers, three quarters of the time. God Bless My Avalicious!

Avie and Maayan helped me add a new feature to StA. Called the Personal Bubble, it can be found on the Home page, and it's a shibby-nifty-keeno pop-up window. It's GONNA have all kindsa snippets in it one day..quotes, fic bits I'm working on ..and it's gonna change often. Right now, it just has shameless promos and a killer Spike quote from The Gift. Stay tuned.

Not much new fic..have several in the wings, but I'm dogsick, and havent updated as often as I usually do. As I may have mentioned, Stay tuned!

Much much deserved, and if I've gotta lose, how can i complain about losing to the simply SHIBBY Eternal Nightcap!? Answer: I can't. Congrats Avalicious! I love you! Now finish the REM series so I can archive it here already! ;}

Hth. Her serie's 'Pink Ladies'  took 'I Wasn't Expecting That' - the first femslash fic to win in any category of the SFCA. Ed. Note: The webmistress considers Hth to be a goddess. All of her Angelslash stories can be found on StA.

SaberShadowKitten took the 'Happy Category' with 'Tiny Smiles', and 'I Laughed so Hard' went to 'Small Fry' by JWWW &Mad Poetess. Their slashy Angel works can be found on StA too. 'Cause when I say only the best, I mean it. :}

Some new faces (to me anyway) took the slashworld by storm..Alexandria & Kayla, who  won Best Series and Best Angst respectively. I'm gonna have to go searchin' them out for any Angel related goodies.

The ever-popular Ducks took Best Short for her Black Paint & Mayo fic...

Which means the next SFCA ((more info. coming soon...new management, new site, new look, new categories)) will be called: Black Paint & Pink Ladies and combine both male and femslash for the biggest, the coolest, the spankin'-est godamn awards show this internet fanworld has ever seen. ((or we'll die tryin.))
