This is my code actually. I am a sad sad person with lots of plus signs. To explain: I like Seasons 1/2 the most, My favorites are Angel, Wes, and Lilah, my favorite villain is Angelus, I want Dru and Eve to die, I have a crapload of stuff, I like Angel best when he's dark, I'm a big conventional shipper (and my favorite ship that's conventional is Wes/Lilah), and I'm a big unconventional shipper as well (Wes/Gunn especially), I'm a fanfic and spoiler whore, I watch it pretty frequently, and my favorite season is season 2, and m favorite episode is The Trial.

OS+++ Seasons, 1 and 2 are awesome: crossovers, monsters of the week, and great relationships between the characters.
OS++ I like Seasons 1 and 2 the most, but I don't mind the arc of S3/4/5.
OS+ I like the early stuff, and I thought baby Connor was kinda cute.
OS I like all the seasons equally.
OS- I really like the arcs of Season 3 on.
OS-- Evil Cordy was awesome!
OS--- Angel running Wolfram and Hart is the best thing they ever could have done to take the show in a new direction.

Playing Favorites
Part 1, The Favorites

FA Angel! He's the title character for god's sake!
FC Cordelia! Smart, sassy, and the heart of the group.
FWe Wesley! Accent + stubble = seriously sexy.
FGn Gunn! Street smart and snarky, plus he had the most kicking battle ax ever.
FDl Doyle! He sacrificed himself in such a noble way.
FFd Fred! What's not to love about a crazy Texan genius?
FLo Lorne! It's not easy being green, so give the boy some love (and maybe a drink or two).
This time I'm just going to list EVERYONE, characters, lawyers, villains, and then this will serve as the main list for anything else that uses shorthand for names. ready?

Favorite Villian
So the character list from above applies down here. I tried to just pick out the really big bads, because Angel had so many monsters of the week that it would be impossible to shorthand them all, but if there's anyone major I'm missing, let me know.
So VAus = Angelus, VWH = Wolfram and Hart, and so on...
...And if you happen to think evil is sexy, feel free to add on the drool plus/minus system here as well.

Die [insert character name] DIE!
Really really hate someone? Wish you could have seen them meet their horrible fate, dying slowly, painfully, and possibly in the rain? This is the part where you tell us.
DA Angel should die! geddit now? so D_ and use any one of the character abbreviations used above.
Next, use the level of + signs to show your level of hatred.

DEe+++ Eve is a porr subsitute for Lilah, Spike? You can kill that one.
DEe++ Eve is just freaking obxoxious. Her broken body would just make me smile.
DEe+ Ew, Eve. Go away, preferably in a casket.
Example: DDu+++ is your eternal wish for Drusilla to get a nice staking for turning Darla back into a vampire.

The Stuff

S++++ You name it, I got it. Books, comics, t-shirts, DVDs, signed stuff. Anything and everything.
S+++ I have the DVDs, but I don't go really crazy. I might have a claddaugh ring though.
S++ I have a couple of books, but I already have all the episodes taped, why do I need DVDs?
S+ I got a comic book once on a whim...
S Um, I have that tape of the "special crossover event" somewhere.
S- Wait, people tape episodes?
S-- Wait, people buy Angel merchandise?
S--- I only watched like, one season, why would I buy Angel stuff?

How do you like your Angel?
Angel has had various roles during the show, and even if he's nor your favorite, I'm sure you guys have a preference to the role he's playing. Keep a plus sign after the one you like the most, add a minus if you also want to show the one you hate the most.

N+++ I run a kick-ass site, I'm popular on the boards, and people beg to have their fic hosted by me.
N++ I might not be among the elite, but I get along pretty well.
N+ I have a tiny fansite, and I'm on some boards as well.
N I lurk a few places maybe, but that's about it.
N- Message boards aren't the place for me.

Conventional Shipping
(remember, my descriptions are just snarky guidelines for you, use the +/- as a degree system.)

CS+++ Buffy/Angel forever! Or Angel/Cordy forever! It depends on the season!
CS++ Wes/Lilah was great, so was the love triangle.
CS+ Conventional shipping is ok. I liked Cordelia/Doyle alright.
CS Conventional shipping works out all right sometimes, especially in the earlier seasons.
CS- Ew! Conventional? Virginia was so mean to my Wesley!
CS-- NO! Con/Cor? Did you see that?!
CS--- I live in the world of subtext thank you very much. Didn't you see that look between Gunn and Wes just then?

Unconventional Shipping

US+++ Give me the weirdest pairings you got, I'll love it. This includes anything with Skip. Cause... it's Skip.
US++ Mmm, slash! It's my reason for living.
US+ Hey, Fred and Wes dated in my little world.
US Eh, I like following the show.
US- Hey, who are we to decide what's best for the characters?

Favorite Ships
Now tons of you have asked for this feature, and there's really no easy way to do it, simply because some of us have one ship, some of us can rattle of a dozen. But the way I think will work best is if we can limit ourselves to two or three favorites and tag them into the CS and US codes like so:
CS(B/A,Fd/Gn)+++US(A/Ld)++ So use parenthesis, the abbreviation, and then the pluses for the code. So that person would like Buffy/Angel, Fred/Gunn, but also Angel/Lindsey.

Fan Fic

FF+++ I read, I write, I'll sit in front of the computer for hours if its a good fic or my muse is with me.
FF++ I might have written one or two, and I read a fair amount.
FF+ I'll only read one every once in a while, and I've never written one.
FF Fan fic is weird, although sometimes it's entertaining I suppose.
FF- Fan fic is weird. And ew, NC-17? Gross.
FF-- Get a life, people. It's a show.
FF--- I'm going to tell Joss on you!!

Spoiler Status

SP+++ I know the status of the season finale... and it's October!
SP++ Next episode is going to be awesome!
SP+ Hey, I heard this crazy rumor.
SP If I hear something, I don't freak out, but it does ruin the surprise.
SP- Don't tell me anything!
SP-- AH! I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL ME!

Watching Habits

W+++ I watch an episode or more per day. Go DVDs! Go TNT! Go Angel marathons!
W++ I'll catch episodes on TNT when I have time.
W+ If I have some free time on the weekend, I'll put in a tape and watch a couple.
W I don't really have enough time to watch episodes again.
W- I didn't catch all of them the first time around, so it's even harder to catch repeats.
W-- Wait, TNT shows repeats every day? Wait, there are DVDs?
W--- I stopped watching after Connor was born. Cause what the hell was up with that?

Favorite Season

To include your favorite season include the roman numeral (this was the best way I could think to minimize confusion). So we all know... I, II, III, IV, V, or put X for I can't decide or I like them all equally. And to show your favorite versus your least favorite season, put a plus after your favorite and a minus after the season you really could have lived without. So an example: II+V-

Favorite Episode
OK, to include your favorite episode in your code, simply use the following system:
To Shanshu in LA = 1.22 or 22.
There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb = 2.22 or 44.
Tomorrow = 3.22 or 66.
Home = 4.22 or 88.
